While our TEFL course is demanding, we try to make each session as entertaining and interactive as possible.
Our class sizes are small so that trainees receive all the help and assistance they need.
Our course is offered in conjunction with C2 Barcelona languages, a young and dynamic language academy housed in a beautiful "modernista" mansion block in the elegant Eixample district.
The TEFL course is not just about work! Your fellow trainees and the students you teach will generally be a friendly bunch.
Barcelona is an amazing place. From medieval streets to Gaudi’s astonishing creations, from bustling markets to a cool beach scene, make sure you make the most of your stay in the Mediterranean’s hippest city.
Barcelona is famous for architecture and in particular for the work of Anton Gaudi, one of Catalunyas favourite sons. Perhaps the most stunning example of his work is Casa Batllo, a dazzling mix of colours and forms
A short train ride from Barcelona is the elegant coastal town of Sitges whose long, broad beaches make it a very popular weekend destination for Barcelona residents and tourists alike.
Another popular excursion from Barcelona is the Costa Brava (or “Wild coast”). Imposing cliffs hide pretty coves and beaches which, in summer, attract visitors from all over Europe.
Casa Mila, otherwise known as La Pedrera (“The Quarry”) is another of Anton Gaudi’s buildings. In fact, it is considered by many to be the finest example of his work.
Barcelona is sandwiched between the Mediterranean on one side and a range of steep, pine-covered hills on the other, offering great views over the city.
Redeveloped for the Olympic Games of 1992, Barcelona's beaches are full of life from early in the morning to late at night.
During the course you'll work closely with your fellow trainees. Here, one of the groups takes a well-earned break in the park.
As Catalans will tell you, Catalunya has suffered more than its fair share of military defeats and civil oppression, but Barcelona does have a failry impressive “Arc de Triomf”
Although quite intense and demanding, the course has a social side too!
The end-of-course dinner is usually an enjoyable affair as trainees and staff alike relax and let their hair down.
Markets still form a central role in the life of Spanish cities. Barcelona’s main market is the massive Boqueria, but there are many smaller local markets scattered around the city
Our classrooms are well-lit and spacious.
Trainees can take advantage of the School's sunny terrace.
